A great ‘off timetable’ afternoon this year featuring Mr Yates from Learn to Rock delivering an exciting project on Bamboo Tamboo.

An insight to the work of our students and tutors and an opportunity for parents to sign their children up for lessons in the Ilkley area starting September 2014.

With Learn to Rock students from:  Addingham Primary School, Ben Rhydding Primary School, Foxhill Primary School, Bradford Grammar School, Ilkley Grammar School and Dixons City Academy.

We will be showcasing:  Saxophones, Clarinets, Flutes, Electric, Classical and Bass Guitars, Drums, Keyboards and Piano and Vocals.

Featuring KS1& KS2 Junk Funk and the Learn to Rock Junior Rock Band

As part of the Ben Rhydding Primary School, Ilkley Open Classroom event, Mr Yates from Learn to Rock will be showcasing some of the superb Music work of the children in all year groups.

Parents please be prepared to volunteer and take part in the Music showcase when requested.

Followed by a picnic lunch.

Our annual Musical Theatre taster day for children at Burley Oaks Primary School in Years 2,3,4,5.  Based on children’s interest this programme will run again in September on Wednesdays 3.20pm to 5.00pm.

Your child will bring home a letter and an application form on Wednesday 9 July.

To register your child for September application forms must be returned to Learn to Rock by Friday 18 July.  Places will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
