Our Year 2 students at Dixons Music Primary start the year on the ‘big boy’ drum kits

We are very lucky to have fabulous resources at Dixons Music Primary and this week all of the Year 2 boys started their drumming on the full sized drum kits. We need some of the boys’ legs to grow about 2.5 cm but they did very well this week despite the shortfall in leg length.
Here is Jacob ready to start his lesson. He was so excited and played astonishingly having learnt a new Rock groove, fills with semi quavers using all the toms, moving from Hi Hat to Ride cymbal and playing along to a grade 4 Rock School drum backing track.
